Making Cheesecake in the Air fryer
It is very simple to make cheesecake in the air fryer if you have never done so. All you need to do is modify any classic cheesecake recipe for your air fryer.
Beginning with an Oreo crust, the Oreo Cheesecake is composed of a baked cheesecake filling combined with crushed Oreos. After cooling, the cake’s top is covered in a silky white chocolate ganache and topped with more Oreos and whipped cream.
It is opulent, sentimental, and distinctly cookies and cream.
The air fryer cheesecake is cooked in under 20 minutes, whereas a traditional oven or even an Instant Pot cheesecake can take over an hour to bake up. Therefore, even though making cheesecake may seem like a lengthy process, doing so in an air fryer only takes a few minutes.
Ingredients
Crust
14 Oreos
2 tbsp. butter melted
Filling
1 8-oz brick of softenedcream cheese
3 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. sour cream
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 egg room temp
Whipped Cream
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tsp powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions to make Air fryer Oreo Cheesecake
All ingredients should be at room temperature to make that silky, decadent filling. They may develop lumps if they are too cold. The ingredients of this recipe should be removed and left to sit for up to two hours.
Use a gallon zip lock to crush Oreos with a rolling pin; it’s not too difficult. Keep a few bigger pieces. Larger chunks totaling 1/2 cup should be poured out and saved for later.
To make them finer, crush the remaining Oreos. Ziploc bag with melted butter inside. Zip the bag, then mash the buttery Oreos.
Press the Oreo/Butter mixture into the bottom of two mini springform pans by dividing between them.
Place the crust on pans and air fry them for 4 minutes at 350 degrees Celsius.
Cream cheese and sugar should be combined for the filling and beaten with a hand mixer until smooth.
Sour cream and vanilla should be added. Mix for an additional minute.
For an additional minute, mix in the egg.
Make sure to fold the large Oreo pieces you set aside using a spatula rather than the mixer.
The filling is poured into springform pans.
12 minutes of air frying at 350F.
Remove from air fryer and chill for at least three hours (or overnight is fine too)
You can make Whipping cream by using a hand mixer to beat cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla for at least five minutes until stiff peaks form.

Can I freeze Oreo Cheesecake?
Yes, if you want to make this ahead of time, this cheesecake can be frozen well. Make it as directed in the recipe, then freeze.
It is best to leave the cheesecake in its pan because it needs to be transported and served. The cheesecake should be cooled and chilled before being wrapped in a double layer of clingfilm and a layer of foil while it is still in the pan. The cheesecake can be frozen for three months.
What Type Of Pan Is Used in an Air fryer?
This is the most frequently asked question about the Air fryer. Your air fryer’s size will be a major factor. Use a pan that you already have at home, or if you want to order a special pan, these are some of my favorites.
The best option is to have a springform pan similar to the regular one. It works well for a variety of desserts, including baked cheesecakes, cookie cakes, and cakes
For this recipe, I strongly advise using a 9-inch springform pan because the filling does make a lot. You can use a pie plate if you don’t have one.
My advice is to use the same Oreo crust and divide the filling recipe if you’re using a pie plate because there would be a lot of filling otherwise.
To avoid sticking and make the crust easier to remove from the pan, line your springform pan with some parchment paper before combining the crust.
How Can I Prevent My Cheesecake from Cracking?
A cheesecake develops cracks when you bake too much or when the temperature has changed too quickly. Although cracks affect the overall presentation of your cake, they won’t significantly alter how it tastes unless the cake is badly overbaked.
Likely, the cake will still taste great even if it cracks. Nevertheless, there are many methods you can try to avoid cracking for a smooth cheesecake.
Mix the cheesecake batter on low or medium-low speed. Too much air is incorporated into the batter while fast beating. As the cake cools, the air will contract after expanding. This will result in the appearance of cracks during baking.
Low, even baking is best for cheesecakes. If you can, bake the cheesecake in a water bath at 325°F.
Since cheesecakes are more prone to overbaking, it’s best to avoid using the fan or convection function if you have a convection oven.
After taking the cake out of the oven, let it cool in the water bath for an hour before transferring it to a cooling rack to finish cooling. It allows the cake to cool more gradually, reducing the risk of cracking. If the water bath has been omitted, allow it to cool in the oven for 30 minutes with the door slightly individual parameters.
Your cheesecake will still be delicious even if it cracks. In addition, you can keep the cracks hidden by covering them with white
Things To Serve On Top Of Oreo Cheesecake:
When your Oreo cheesecake has finished the baking and cooling process then it’s time to add some finishing touches. Even though the topping or decoration is possible if your Oreos stay in their layers.
If that does occur, the white chocolate ganache on top of the cheesecake can cover any problems.
In addition, I ADORE the toppings with fresh fruit pieces, chocolate chips and syrups. They can add more flavor to the cheesecake! For Oreo Cheesecake, Oreo’s filling is unquestionably the best component.
You can make a delicious and lovely-looking cheesecake by sprinkling more Oreo cookies on top of the white chocolate ganache.
What Should I Do If I Don’t Have A Springform Pan?
You can use any pan or shape that fits inside your air fryer. Keep in mind that smaller pans may require less cooking time to keep an eye on it.
If you don’t have a springform pan, line it with parchment strips in a conventional baking pan the same size as the springform pan called for in the recipe. Allow the strips to dangle over each edge of the pan so you can carefully lift your dessert out once it has cooled.
How Large Of An Air Fryer Do I Require To Make A Cheesecake?
You can make an air fryer-friendly cheesecake. I have a smaller 3.7Q air fryer, and the 8-inch springform pan fits well in my basket.
Choose an extra-large basket size or an oven-model air fryer if you have an open-door policy and find yourself surrounded by friends and family on weekends. That way, you may quickly prepare party dishes and snacks for a crowd.
Conclusion
In the end, I’d conclude that,
Use cream cheese that is room temperature rather than cold because it will mix much better. The batter will have lumps if it is not first softened and blended; these lumps will stay in the cake after baking.
Depending on your air fryer, cooking times will change. Start checking your cheesecake after 15 minutes; if it still jiggles, add three more minutes to the cooking time. In an 8-inch pan, the total cooking time should be 15 to 18 minutes.
You can skip the remaining baking time and go straight to the cooling process if the cheesecake starts to crack even slightly while baking.
Cheesecake slices can freeze for a quick dessert in the future. The slices should be well-wrapped in foil and plastic wrap before freezing. If unwrapped, then thaw in the microwave for around 30 seconds.
Your cheesecake will still be delicious even if it cracks. In addition, you can keep the cracks hidden by covering them with white.
