In my household, cornbread is a necessary food staple. Since I can remember, I’ve always enjoyed sweet cornbread with a little butter.

|You want a gluten-free flour that also contains Xanthan Gum. The blue bag of Bob’s Red Mill 1-1 is my favorite. Use ordinary all-purpose flour if you don’t require this recipe to be gluten-free.
|This recipe is ideal for yellow cornmeal. Check the labels to be sure, but most cornmeal should be gluten-free.
|Baking soda and baking powder work together to give our bread the ideal fluffy, soft texture.

|Any dairy or non-dairy milk can be substituted for buttermilk, however, I prefer the tang it adds.

How to Make Cornbread in Air Fryer?
This recipe requires a silicon egg mold that will fit inside an air fryer that is 3.5 quarts or larger.
If you don’t have an egg mold, you could alternatively cook this in a single round pan, but it would take more time to cook completely.
In a mixing bowl, combine the box mix, milk, and egg if you’re preparing this recipe from a box. Stir thoroughly until mixed.
To make it simpler to pour the batter into the mold, transfer the mixture to a sizable measuring cup with a pour spout. In the case of the homemade recipe, beat the egg in a mixing bowl.
Add the oil and buttermilk. Until mixed, whisk. After that, add all of the dry ingredients to the bowl and stir everything together until well combined.
Grease the mold’s wells very lightly. Although it’s not necessary, doing so will make it simpler to remove the muffins without them adhering to the mold.
With the batter, fill each well 3/4 full. The muffins will balloon out over the top if you fill them any higher, and they won’t look as good when they’re finished.
Air fry for 8 minutes at 325 °F. Use a toothpick to inspect the muffin. Cook for another minute if the toothpick emerges moist with batter.
You can carry on doing this until the toothpick is free from any residue. Remove the mold from the air fryer and place it on a cooling rack once the toothpick is clean.
Give the muffins five minutes to rest in the mold. Pushing up on the muffin mold’s base will cause the muffins to easily spring out.
Till all the batter is consumed, repeat the process. Depending on the size of the egg mold you are using, the recipe yields roughly 14 muffins.

Most likely, your air fryer uses high heat to cook. The cornbread will be thicker if your pan is too tall. Alternatively, it could be too high and too near the heating element. As a result, the cornbread may cook too quickly on the exterior while remaining raw inside.
Because of this, we advise switching off the air fryer while leaving the cornbread inside to continue cooking. The cornbread’s core will continue to cook thanks to the air fryer’s residual heat.
